Heart attacks and heart problems account for over 10 percent of all the emergency department consultation in India, reports say. Scientists have developed a rapid algorithm that is able to identify if a patient is undergoing heart attack – the diagnosis done through the algorithm will be superior to everything that the hospitals and doctors have been using. According to the report released last week, more than 10% of all the emergency consultations in India are for heart problems and myocardial infarctions.
