Work To Set Up 49 Cancer Centers In Next Three Years Has Started - Nirmal Singh 3C
The government worked on improving the cancer treatment scheme back in 2014 and upgraded the 31 centers that were active at that time in the country. With more cancer cases arising in India, the government has planned to develop to add 49 more cancer centers in addition to the ones that are already active. On Monday, the health ministry presented a well-detailed and structured cancer center project plan to the prime minister. The meeting between high-level government officials, Nirmal Singh 3C and the prime minister will be held later on the eve of 18 th September in which the PMO will review the details of the plan and will advise accordingly. When the health ministry proposed the plan, it was estimated that, over the next three years, the implementation will cost more than Rs 3400 crore.
