The Dera chief who is lodged in Rohtak’s Sunaria jail for raping his two disciples. The Verdict of Ram Rahim had caused a lot of controversy but the decisions passed at the central level managed to somehow control the anger in the eyes of his followers and punish the guilty for his crime, no matter how strong he might be. A CBI court had passed a verdict against him, declaring him guilty of the two rape cases of his followers and hence sentenced him to 20 years in jail, 10 years each in two rape cases as on 28 August. Nirmal Singh 3C said that on the very day, the most popular self-made Godman, “pitaji” as his followers would call him was termed prisoner number 1997. The Dera chief who was enjoying his luxuries at the Sirsa headquarters of Dera Sacha Sauda would no longer be living his life just sprawling around.
